At TCO, we believe that the primary spiritual influences in the life of a child should be that child’s parents. We do our best to come alongside and equip parents for this important work, rather than trying to usurp or replace their authority to lead their children.
In order to facilitate this, we offer quality Biblical teaching for all ages, including Children’s Church at 9:15am on Sunday mornings for ages Kindergarten thru 5th grade.
Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one's youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate. (Psalm 127:3-5)
What is Sunday like for the children?
If your child is younger than Kindergarten, then you will take them to their class in the fellowship hall and they will be received by a warm and friendly teacher. If you have a child who is in Kindergarten thru 5th grade, you will register your children in the fellowship hall and they will sit with you as we worship corporately thru song. After the offering, we will escort our children’s church to the children/student’s building where they will worship thru the word as a group in an age-appropriate setting and approach.
OLYMPIANS
On Wednesday nights, we offer a family meal at 5:30pm and Olympian activities which begin at 6:30pm.
Please know that we will take wonderful care of your children and do everything we can to point them back to you as the spiritual leader of the home. We want to assist you in the discipleship of your child, not replace you.
