Our philosophy
Our philosophy of youth ministry is to deliberately and intentionally instruct our teens to be disciple-makers. We teach a clear model for reproducible discipleship that connects to everything that we do.
Student Ministry
At TCO our Middle School and High School ministry is called “Rooted.”
Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.
(Proverbs 22:6)
We believe,
that the teenage years are an important time of transitioning from a parent-driven belief in Jesus to a personally motivated relationship with our Lord. We emphasize solid foundations in the Word of God with strong exegetical teaching, great opportunities to serve and grow, and, of course, a ton of fun!
When do the youth meet?
On Wednesday nights, after our family meal at 5:30pm, we start our youth activities at 6:00pm with fun, fellowship and faithful teaching from the Word.
We plan numerous activities and events to encourage our kids to connect with other young believers as they grow together rooted in God’s Word.
